Dean of student Mr. Oroni N. Barasa (department of mech/automotive), teaches automotive engineering and technical drawing, B.E.D (technology) Moi University and Masters in Education management and policy studies, Moi University. ROLES

Boarding/accommodation

The purpose is to ensure an effective and efficient boarding and accommodation of students in the institute. We have two hostels – female and male hostels. Female hostel has a capacity of about 60 and male hostel has a capacity of about 88. We have two janitors thus Ms Eunice (female) and Silas Makana (male).

Catering Services

We have a cateress (Phyllis Masibo), 6 cooks (3 male, 3 female) –one lady is physically challenged, helps in washing utensils plus one cashier. In total 8 personnel are engaged in the kitchen. We have adopted PAYE mode of catering, it begun in September 2014.

Health/Clinic

have one nurse aid (Agnes Juma) who handles emergence cases. We have 4 grounds personnel (one male and 3 female), who do most of the cleaning of offices and classes plus workshops.

Students’ Welfare

We have orientation of new students whose purpose is to ensure that new students are oriented for effective, adaptation to the institute environment promptly. We have student governance whose purpose is to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, timeliness, transparency and consistency in the governance of students in the institute. Clubs and societies – the purpose is to ensure effectiveness, consistency and efficiency in all activities pertaining to students entertainment in the institute.
